Cement Industry

Refractory bricks, castable refractory, and other refractory materials are used in the cement industry to line the walls of kilns and other high-temperature areas. Refractory materials are designed to withstand temperatures of up to 1,800 degrees Celsius and are resistant to chemical attack from slag, ash, and other harsh substances. Refractory materials form an integral part of the cement-making process as they protect the kiln from damage due to thermal shock and the abrasive action of particles.
